Meet the Founder
Welcome to Seasons Schoolhouse LLC! My name is Danyelle. I am a homeschooling mom, wife, and the founder of Seasons Schoolhouse.
I created this community out of a desire to be part of something meaningful. When we began our homeschool journey, I found myself searching for something specific—a community of families who shared a desire to learn and grow together through all of life’s seasons. Not just the seasons of education, but the many seasons of parenting, family life, and everything in between.
I was looking for something with roots—something that felt alive and connected, not robotic or transactional. I wanted a program that would enrich our homeschool, not replace it. A place where parents could come alongside one another to help educate our children in a way that brings learning to life. A place where children could learn in tangible, meaningful ways.
I have many years of experience in educational environments, and that background has shaped my desire to live and learn in a more holistic and intentional way. I have always had a passion for working with children and meeting them where they are. I firmly believe that education begins with connection—that children are whole individuals, capable of understanding far more than we often give them credit for. I believe children learn best when they are immersed in a community filled with genuine joy, curiosity, and a love for the learning process.
When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, Seasons Schoolhouse was born.
This program was created as a way to bring that vision to life—a place where families come together in community to learn and grow, where education is approached with intention, rhythm, and purpose.
How It Began
Seasons Schoolhouse began in 2024 with a small group of homeschool families who shared a common desire—to learn and grow together in a more connected and meaningful way.
We started simply, meeting bi-weekly in local parks and natural spaces throughout our community. What began as a handful of families gathering together has grown into a steady rhythm of learning, connection, and shared experience.
Each meeting is thoughtfully structured, with a dedicated teaching time followed by hands-on activities and immersive experiences that bring learning to life. Whether exploring a new environment, engaging in a project, or simply observing the world around us, children are given the opportunity to learn in tangible, meaningful ways.
Over time, something deeper has taken root. What started as a group has become a community—a place where families show up for one another, where children are known, and where learning happens not just through instruction, but through relationship and experience.
Seasons Schoolhouse continues to grow, and we are excited for what is ahead. Our hope is to expand into additional learning opportunities in the future, including seasonal camps, workshops, and other enrichment experiences that allow families to continue learning together beyond our regular gatherings.
At the heart of it all remains the same vision: a village of families learning side by side, grounded in connection, consistency, and the belief that we are stronger together.
