K–8 Homeschool Enrichment · Est. 2024
Rooted in community. Grown through experience.
A warm, hands-on co-op where homeschool families gather each season to explore life skills, nature, history, and creativity — together.
Learning that begins outdoors and roots itself in the living world around us.
Cooking, sewing, gardening — practical wisdom passed down with intention.
Stories that connect children to the world they've inherited and the one they'll shape.
Making things by hand, expressing ideas, and discovering what imagination can build.
Learning beyond four walls — local adventures that bring lessons to life.
A circle of families walking the homeschool path together, season by season.
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."— Benjamin Franklin
The Woman Behind the Co-op
I'm a wife and mom who began our homeschool journey two years ago — and it changed everything. Stepping away from the conventional path was both freeing and humbling, and it opened my eyes to just how many other families were walking the same road, often quietly, and often alone.
That's where Seasons Schoolhouse was born. I saw a genuine need for a gathering place — a community where moms could exhale, where kids could connect, and where learning could happen the way I've always believed it should: with dirt on your hands, curiosity in your heart, and people alongside you.
I've carried a deep passion for childhood education for as long as I can remember. Providing hands-on, practical experiences for children isn't just something I believe in — it's a calling. Watching a child understand something not because they read it in a textbook, but because they lived it, is one of the most beautiful things I know.
Seasons Schoolhouse is my small offering to this community. I'm so glad you found your way here.
What We Do & Who We Are
Seasons Schoolhouse is a K–8 homeschool enrichment co-op that gathers bi-weekly during the school year (September through May). We meet as a community to learn, create, explore, and grow — guided by the rhythms of each season and the curiosity of every child.
Bi-weekly during the school year, September through May. Each gathering is a full, intentional day of learning.
Homeschool families with children in kindergarten through 8th grade. All learning styles and backgrounds are welcome here.
Experiential, community-led, and rooted in real-world skills. We learn by doing — not just listening.
Each season brings a new focus and fresh activities. We follow nature's lead and let the calendar shape our curriculum.
Learning Areas & Activities
Seasonal observation, plant identification, wildlife exploration, and outdoor stewardship.
Cooking from scratch, basic sewing, gardening, and the practical arts of everyday living.
Living history lessons, storytelling, cultural studies, and connection to the past.
Watercolor, nature journaling, crafts, and seasonal projects made with care by hand.
Local adventures to farms, museums, nature preserves, historical sites, and beyond.
Teaching children to look outward — giving back and serving those around us with purpose.
A look at what we've done together
We explored the history of the harvest season, learned to can and preserve food, made apple butter from scratch, and took a field trip to a local farm to connect our learning to the land.
We dove into textile arts — basic hand sewing, weaving, and warm-weather crafts — alongside winter nature journaling and a study of how communities around the world celebrate the cold months.
Children planted their own seedlings, studied plant life cycles, explored local native plants on a guided nature walk, and worked on a community garden contribution project together.
A history-rich season exploring early American life, cartography, pioneer skills, and a field trip to a local historical site. Kids made their own hand-drawn maps and learned butter churning along the way.
Curious about what's coming up this season?
